Same result in New Orleans, basically. Would they consider this a sufficient response? Would they put all the responsibility on a mayor and governor, for the destruction of one of America's great cities?

IN 2000 Jeb, the smarter brother, got $7 mil. (or was it billion?) for swamp repair. If La had a Repuke gov. I'll bet he would have been more friendly.

5. I simply can not - well, yes I can - |

believe the utter stupidity of this bunch of asswipes in DC. What better time for the "turists" to immobilize the country by either making things in NOLA worse or attacking somewhere else while out attention is directed at NOLA. They are always more than a few braincells short of getting it.

7. How do you know they aren't going to find traces of a terrorist |
|
attack in the levees being breached? I wouldn't put it past them. They are scrambling for scapegoats. So far they are blaming the Governor and the Mayor of NO. But that's not enough, they really need to find a lot to blame.

10. My point is, even if it WAS a terrorist attack (which is NOT what I'm |
|
saying), would RWers consider the shrubco response adequate?

12. Of course not, so they are going to ratch it up until they |
|
get adequate. Terrorist attack works for them.

11. My point was not to say that this was caused by terrorists. My point is, |
|
for RWers who seem to feel that the Bush administration response was perfectly adequate, would they feel the same way if this same disaster was caused by terrorism, which they love to focus on...
