People stealing food and water to survive are considered "looters."

What about oil companies making record profits while important infrastructure projects go unfunded. Isn't that looting?

People will do what they need to do to survive. I'm cheering for those who put their own safety on the line to help others. They acted like people--even those who some might never expected it of--many of the people of NOLA came together as a community and worked together to ride out the (horribly extended) aftermath of the storm.

We humans do what we need to survive...but in times of crisis we also rise above ourselves and do what we need to do to help others survive.

And that's what it's about.

be secured, not that they would be getting relief, but that they would be secured. Now you know what the priorities are.

2. It's hard work protecting the rich

Shrub's making sure that his rich buddies businesses are protected from these vile looters....but the victims "need to understand" that getting them some relief will take time. ASSHOLE
