1. Exactly. I often wonder about the people who post at the DU and

start out with "let's spin" "let manipulate" "let's use this against them".

It is about none of that. You use those words when you are copying the GOP.

I don't see it as some fun game. It is just so sad.

It's about "Class Warfare."

It's about "Protecting the most vulnerable."

It's about "Saving Lives."

This isn't spin...it's the goddam truth. And if telling the truth is being political...it's about goddam time someone did it.

4. People are politics....

Who do you think is affected with each new bill signed and each cut in programs made by our politicians?

Politics is nothing more than
the prioritizing of governmental functions.

5. "Politics" implies it is a game and that it could be a lie. Worrying about

serious issues is not "just politics".Don't let them diminish our message. This is serious stuff. Politics implies choice - that all options are open. In terms of rescuing people from disaster..there is no choice. The Law says so. You have to help. Every religion too. And our guts as human beings. This is not "politics". This is about people who choose not to be human vs. human beings.

6. All that I am saying is from a standpoint

of those people who deny that politics and people are separate....I simply don't buy it.

The problem with politics as it is, is that the humanity of people isn't factored into the equation as it SHOULD be. So I'm looking at it from that standpoint. (just look at our bankruptcy bill, our drug bills, etc...)

I think that we are saying the same thing in reverse...

I'm talking about what politics should be about....

Politics in this day and age means spin and bullshit, nothing more. We're not the ones giving lip service to people and playing petty games while people's lives are in the balance.
