It's just as bad if Bush waited for the supply trucks or had the ...
... trucks wait for him. I doubt Bush held up relief supplies until he could make a TV appearance just as they arrived. More likely, Bush just delayed his appearance until he knew the trucks would arrive for the cameras. But that is a smoking gun too.

Bush has been criticized all week for not leading, not inspiring, not comforting and, most of all, for not acting. If the TV/photo-op running simultaneously with the convoy arrival was not a coincidence, then it is one of two things: Bush held up either the supply trucks or his (alleged) national leadership until just the right moment for his own political benefit.

1. I think it was the latter, too.
I also think that the pull back Wednesday night was to cover a lack of on-site resources to deal with the situation. Much easier to blame the victims.

The bottom line is pretty simple....they should have been dropping water, food, and basic medical supplies on Tuesday...

2. Supplies were held up waiting for Bush's convenient arrival...
You may not want to believe that...but all evidence points that way.

The truck drivier with the semi full of water was ready to go two days ago, and was told to wait so he would arrive today...while The Dimson was there. That is no coincidence.

This was all planned for a photo-op. That there were starving and dehydrated people did not matter one iota.

You may find such inhumanity hard to comprehend, but it is everyday living to BushCo

3. I was surprised at the rambling, bumbling interview in Biloxi

he even let questions be asked. Maybe he assumes his robotic MSN will automatically edit heavily and only show a coherent sound byte or two so it doesn't matter what he says. Bush on Ad-Lib is frightening.

And I was wondering if & when he was ever going to New Orleans -- when I saw the trucks rolling in I knew. I don't believe in coincidence. I guess that's as close as they could time it.
