Why Cheney is not dead, IMHO
if he were, it would be a great opportunity to divert some attention away from the mess on the Gulf Coast. Imagine the spin: "VP Cheney expired today as a result of overworking himself putting together a federal plan for the recovery of New Orleans. 'I wish I could go there myself', the multiply heart-attacked leader reportedly told aides. His last words were 'Ich bin ein Neue Orleanser'". A munificent state funeral will then follow.

Of something to that effect. I'm not as good as some when it comes to the spin.

No, I think he's alive - or as alive as he ever is. On one blogsite I read a speculation that the news about the destruction to the oil rigs gave him another heart attack.

5. I think he's hooked up on life support somewhere...
but I'm not sure why. It is a mystery. I started asking folks at work today just to get people thinkin' about the fact that no one's seen him around. They were all like "yea, where the hell has he been?"

3. If he's not dead
then why is he hiding? It's not like Katrina can chase him down in his bunker.

4. 'Ich bin ein Neue Orleanser'
This one got me. LOL. I am really suprised now, somehow, that Idiot Son did not say that today while he was gadding about mugging for the camera. "Ick Bin Aynuh Neulinslier"

6. Not dead by any means
Haliburton got another no-bid contract today...no big deal, just a little something that calls for the rebuilding of all the Naval bases in the Gulf Coast that were damaged/destroyed by that itty-bitty storm they had a few days past.

Really just chump (or should I say chimp?) change compared to Iraq, but it does prove ITS ALIVE!!!!!!

7. Yes, but the contract that Halliburton just got to rebuild three
Naval bases should perk him right up, give him something to live for.

13. Don't sell yourself short in the satire dept.
"Ich bin ein Neue Orleanser" is an instant classic, and is
also responsible for one of my very few smiles of late.
