Misleader disapproval poll sure vanished quickly from CNN....
home page. Did anyone get a look at where the results were when they pulled it?

2. Last time I saw it it was 79% saying Feds didn't do enough.
That was just before 6:00PM and I think they pulled it to put Lou Dobbs poll up at 6:00.

4. the thing acted "broken" so I think the results were too bad
I think the things are programmed to doctor the results with some form of token consistency with reality, mitigated by limits on the amounts of disapproval. When things really go south (as they must be now) I think it just deliberately spews garbage as a cop-out.

5. CNN changed the subject.
The new poll question is a softball.
"Do you think relief efforts seen Friday mark a turning point
for the survivors in New Orleans?"

6. Yup - I thought is was a misleading poll. You couldn't separate the
forms of government to blame. It implied they were all in it together..whatever they did. And they are not. Bush has the Pentagon to tell him what cities look like when there is no rule of law for three days and people & the odd drug addict are panicking.

Bush has all the experts in the world. A mayor does not. Which is why he writes the President and begs for help on Sunday. Because the President has the resources.

Dobbs must have just seen the letter the Mayor wrote.
