Aaron Brown made a point he didn't even recognize, it is critical -
in reading headlines from the paper, one of the NY Tabloids headline is "Shame On Us". Aaron wondered, kind of to himself, whether this will result in a series of scandals that demand following, or will we just let it slip off the radar screen as the situation improves.

SEND HIM EMAILS, LIKE I JUST DID - I STRESSED TO HIM THAT THE MEDIA - HE, OTHERS, PLAY A CRITICAL ROLE IN DOING WHAT THEY ARE NOW DOING (AND WERE SO REMISS IN DOING FOR SO LONG) - KEEP IT ON THE RADAR SCREEN AND ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS AND, FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR COUNTRY, NOT LET THOSE RESPONSIBLE OFF THE HOOK!

2. Give Katrina at least as much attention as Natalee
Whaddya think the chances are that Nancy Grace (not to mention Rita) will devote her entire show for months to Katrina's devastation? Gotta get back to Aruba!

3. Nope, this will be bad for a long while
Yesterday they were saying it could be three weeks before they could remove all the water from the city, today they're saying six months....they really have no clue yet.

4. Good for you for emailing them. I've emailed each one of the "big three,"
even FOX, specifically praising Shepherd Smith...but I've sent one or two to CNN asking them to KEEP ON THIS and not spin or fall for politicalspeak.

8. I've written to all three myself. I did so earlier this week when
many of the anchors were drum beating about the "looting the looting". I blasted that shitass Lisa Daniels for her sociopathic hatred...asking 'why the looters weren't being SHOT'..almost came out of her goddamned seat with eyes gleaming.

I blasted all of them earlier about their hiding the REAL PROBLEM and only focusing on "the danger"........that kind of shit is what kept many rescuers out of the area.. Overblown HYPE.

I asked them to DO THEIR CIVIL DUTY and report what is REALLY TAKING PLACE. Since then all but Faux seems to have gotten the message...

I think lawsuits are in order.

Give him the reinforcement to continue, in his quiet way. I just heard him say he wants 5 minutes with the pResident.

6. I've emailed him twice tonight with positive checks, and...
encouraging remarks to keep this brave new world of truthful reporting going forever....nice, refreshing change.

7. Plame, DSM, Edmonds, 9/11...THEY are the ones who let it slip.
It's up to them to NOT report so much on run-a-way brides, and missing blondes and report on the things that matter most to citizens.
