They've been yelling for help since day one.

5. They were both there all week

As soon as the storm was over, they were there to survey the damage. they have been asking, begging for help.

7. I know Landrieu was there during the week, went to the dome

and her brother was going out in boats on rescues. I believe the Governor was there for part of the week as well.
