2. A Seminal American Community has been destroyed.
It wasn't purposeful. They simply didn't place a bit of importance on it.

3. Why was no importance placed on it?
"I assume the president's going to say he got bad intelligence... I think that wherever you see poverty, whether it's in the white rural community or the black urban community, you see that the resources have been sucked up into the war and tax cuts for the rich." -- Congressman Charles B. Rangel

5. Mission accomplished--I'll leave before I am destroyed by them!
  :grr:

All I can see when I look at that footage is black people being hosed down in the streets when they dared to stand up and say,'no more.' Nothing has apparently changed at all in this country, and frankly I don't want to be a part of it anymore...

I want to be like Paul Robeson and Josephine Baker. They had the right idea...

6. I Have Not Watched Television for 15 years and now
Circumstances have brought me to a place where there is a tube and as I bear witness to this horror; All I see are black mothers with their children and immense fear in their eyes; I see desperate Black people stranded on an overpass; I see suffering Black people stuck in hospital; I see vulnerable Black people crammed like sardines into a concrete stadium; I see a Black man pushing a shopping cart through thigh deep water.

I wish this were an aberration for America.

It is not.

I will never be the same.

7. I am sincerely sorry that after all these years THIS is what
you have to see on television.

I know this guy will leave office in '08, but look at all the damage he is causing in that time.

I don't believe in America anymore...
