I have a great idea for those who buy lunch

I am going to fast for lunch on Weds. and donate the money I would've spent to Katrina Disaster funds. I just drink coffee for breakfast, so I will be a little hungry by dinner, which is good to remember the suffering of these people. I plan to do it until the city has been restored (earlier on 60 mins. the guy said 3 - 4yrs until it is completely restored. This way, in 6 mos., I won't have forgot about the incident and the suffering.

Anyone else in?

1. I will do anything, literally anything I can

I've donated several hundred dollars so far. No, I'm not rich, I just have a good job with stock options so I sold some of them to devote to this. I've offered my spare bedroom on moveon.com for a person or couple in need. I will continue to forego my usual pleasures to devote funds to this tragedy. I cannot believe people are dying FOR NO REASON in the wealthiest country in the world. It is unconscionable.
