Should people going through divorce be denied... |

..the right to purchase guns? As we all know it is a very traumatic time for some people and we all have heard stories about men (usually) killing there wives at that time. It would save lives right?

We are talking MAJOR PARANOIA about divorced men with a right to bear arms coming in there.
I'm not sure about taking away their guns period, though -- interesting idea, one I'll give some thought to.

It might do some good, but it doesn't address situations where the couple already own guns.
Would be very difficult to enforce.
It would probably eventually get tossed as unconstitutional.
I don't think I'll join you in vocalizing support for this idea, based on my two objections above.
