Bane, Christina, Edgar, Carl, and Edgar Jr.

EDGAR LEE BANE CARL ANTHONY BANE EDGAR LEE BANE II WAVELAND, - The bodies of the Bane family, Hurricane Katrina victims, were found by rescue workers huddled together in the living room of their Waveland, Miss., home on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2005. Christina and Edgar and their two sons, Carl and Edgar II, were victims of drowning as a result of the hurricane. Christina is survived by her mother, Serena Ferguson Malmstrom of Bay Saint Louis, Miss., who is a native of Poquoson, Va. The Bane family is also survived locally by their aunts, Margie Ferguson White, Shirley Ferguson Evans and Laura Ferguson Lotkowictz, all of Poquoson, and June West Austin of Chesapeake, and numerous cousins. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and other family members are still missing and not yet accounted for, A memorial fund is being established to help defray the funeral costs. Anyone wishing to contribute may do so by check made payable to Serena Malmstrom and mailed or delivered to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 831 Poquoson Ave., Poquoson, VA 23662.
