6. COMPLETELY EMPTY...I guess the Sanjay Gupta story really
effed them up. When he reported that they picked up the fact that emergency patients @ charity had to wait for staff to be evacuated @ other facilities.

YUP critically ill patients on bag ventilation @ charity had to wait while they picked up healthy folks aka staff @ other hospitals

3. there were two other hospitals- one being tulane...
that had messages on the NOLA board. i hope they are all evacuated now.

5. Tulane evac-ed before Charity
I am so glad to hear about Charity. CNN last night pointed out the heartbreak of those at Charity with people waiting on the deck of the parking lot hand pumping ventilators while they watched Tulane being evacuated. Who *should* have been helped first? I don't know.... I am just glad they are out now.

7. i heard the private hospital evaced the insured and dumped the
charity cases there. unbelievable stuff. the two americas.
