This is a double, super-secret "emergency response" plan being put in action by BushCo, I am certain now. They mean to have an insurgency to justify a MAJOR FREAKING CLAMPDOWN

kinda smarmy like "Yeah, let's wait till they shoot innocent civilians and justify it by calling them insurgents"...

My page was loading so slow I never saw your :sarcasm: s until I hit reply and it came up in text form.

I should have known better, coming from you! Sorry for even thinking that!
on edit: I don't mean to laugh at this horrible situation, but I will take a laugh gladly where I can get it these days I hope this doesn't seem insensitive :(

5. crap
:(

Only good thing is that it won't last long. How much ammo could the "insurgents" possibly have?

it "Had to be" ?

7. The Ugly Aftermath...
Once those who want to be evacuated are gone, there's still gonna be some who want to stay behind. Be it "protecting or turf" or whatever reason, in addition to having to drain the water, to have an effective reconstruction, these people will have to be removed as well...and I fear it won't be pretty.

I heard someone on WWL describe the roving gangs...almost Mogadishu style...that were flying around parts of the city. These people aren't going to go into FEMA shelters and camps easily.

9. Context and link to article:
This is so sad and fucked up. Good lord, this is America?

------

Army Times: "Troops begin COMBAT operations in New Orleans"

NEW ORLEANS — Combat operations are underway on the streets “to take this city back” in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

“This place is going to look like Little Somalia,” Brig. Gen. Gary Jones, commander of the Louisiana National Guard’s Joint Task Force told Army Times Friday as hundreds of armed troops under his charge prepared to launch a massive citywide security mission from a staging area outside the Louisiana Superdome. “We’re going to go out and take this city back. This will be a combat operation to get this city under control.”

...

“We’re here to do whatever they need us to do,” Sgt. 1st Class Ron Dixon, of the Oklahoma National Guard’s 1345th Transportation Company. “We packed to stay as long as it takes.”

While some fight the insurgency in the city, other carry on with rescue and evacuation operations. Helicopters are still pulling hundreds of stranded people from rooftops of flooded homes.

17. yes so now they will put these people in the many concentration camps
they have been building the last 3 years..you mark my words..this is the first stage of martial law..this was their test..they left those people long enough until they were ready to react...it was a test ..i feel it in my bones!!

they are conditioning the american people..they demonized the victims..

it was all part of the "they shot at us" crap..i would bet the shooters were psyops!

did any of those people waiting look violent to you??

no but they let them be real dirty and let it look like squander..and that was all tv conditioning for the american people..

now we will see combat on our streets and they will see how far they can push us until we snap..and most likely the rest of america will be apahtetic as they assume we will be!..

do you see anyone around where you live changing what they are doing about this??

goggle "new concentration camps"...

this is the begining!!

wake up America!!

whats the point of setting a chemical plant on fire? Arsonist or make a news story to reinforce a story of anarchy?

21. I expected it!
And people were wondering if the military would really start killing Americans. There's your answer. And now Bush has taken it upon himself to ignore the law and given active US Army troops the go ahead, to attack American citizens. I'll bet ANYTHING, the shooting thing is a set-up. Just one more step toward the Fourth Reich.
