The largest U.S. pipeline carrying gasoline and other refined oil products from the storm-ravaged Gulf Coast, will be running at 85 per cent of normal capacity by the end of this weekend, an official said on Friday.

Colonial Pipeline will be at 85 per cent of normal capacity by Monday, Plantation Pipe Line at 95 per cent of capacity, gas prices ease.
The Colonial Pipeline runs from Texas to New York Harbor. Friday it was flowing at two-thirds of its 2.3 million barrel-per-day capacity.

1. Whatdya wanna bet...

...that this will have zero effect on rising prices? I mean, even after they're back at 100% capacity, that the prices will continue to rise anyway? I figure the oil tycoons, with one of their own in the Oval Office, will gouge as they please no matter what.
