Since yesterday our local PBS station has been broadcasting LPB ( my guess Louisiana Public Broadcasting). A while ago they had New Orleans city council member Oliver Thomas. Mr Thomas gave a lengthy rant about how New Orleans people are being misrepresented. He cited a report of a riot at one place he was present. Baton Rouge sent a SWAT team and he says it never happened- 2 people raised their voices at one another.
His main thing was about some people that were bused out of New Orleans and reached Baton Rouge. They were told that they were not being allowed to stay in Louisiana and were to be put on a train to points unknown. This had Mr. Thomas really agitated.
I wasn’t able to find a line to this video. I’m sure there is one. I wish all my DU friends could watch it because it is basically live TV.
