has been revealed. Bush's long string of "political" appointments without the experience or competence to lead any major federal department is at the root of what is going on now. From Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rummy right on down to the head of FEMA. These people are incompetent to lead because they really can't identify with people. They have no idea what it is like to have "work" to earn money and to survive without good medical care or living wages. They haven't got a clue. They didn't understand the reasons for 9/11 or chose to ignore the real reasons and they don't understand the minds of people who have been invaded, uprooted, abused, and marginalized here at home and elsewhere in the world. They just don't have a fucking clue!

get all the "goodwill". That is an asset you know.. Bush got to reconnect with is racist & crime fearing base. This has gone well for them. People trust government less. That is lovely for them and why they put incompetent function-nots in positions of government power.
