7. DITTO. I hate this fucking guy. His smary manner & excuses piss me off
to no end.

He just told the press in one of his never-ending and laborious "briefings" to raise their hand, like they did in school, one at a time, to ask their questions.

I want to put a fist in his fucking mouth.

All he does is make excuses (not even good ones) for the total INCOMPETENCE of this administration.

12. he is on this 'blame nature' theme
WTF, so who gives a damn what or who causes the destruction, isn't DHS supposed to be prepared no matter WHAT? He makes this sound like they are surprised that the disaster might come from someone other than terrorists.
He is spouting lie after lie on CNN now, and it is enough to make you sick,
Read in St. Paul paper this morning that military leaders at bases around the US were sitting and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for the word to come from the feds. Bases who have at their fingertips cargo planes, fleets of trucks, medical personnel. The FEDS are to blame, leave MY MOTHER (Nature) alone.

14. This is too much
he is blaming the fact that there were TWO events, a hurricane and a flood. Um, does that make a difference? Has this guy ever seen a hurricane? Read about them in a book? There is often if not always some sort of flooding.
He says, "Oh, we are doing something, you can't say we aren't doing something"....
Too little too late

15. He was just asked...
"Should the FEMA director resign?" and his reply was. "That would be considered an argumentative question in a court, and it would be overruled by a judge" then went on to say "there will be a lot of looking in the rearview mirror here, I don't think we can judge like that"

Hello? This is called job review, evaluation of a job done, and YES, that A**hole needs to go too. Any introspection or admission of mistakes by this group (the repubs) is impossible. Way to go. Way to make sure this doesn't happen again.

at least democrats know how to run Federal Agencies because they believe in the role of the federal government in domestic programs.

The republicans don't, they never did

18. He did not seem to realize that he was NOT IN A COURT OF LAW...
...he was in a PRESS CONFERENCE!!!!!

In a press conference, you HAVE no lawyer to defend you and there IS no judge to protect you from ALL the questions the media throw at you...fair or unfair! The most you can do is say "No comment" or "I don't think that's a fair question"! You're on your own, pal! There's no lawyer there to defend you in the Court of Public Opinion by yelling "Objection--badgering the witness!" There is no judge to slam a gavel and yell "Objection sustained"!

It's called the First Amendment, buddy. You might try reading a copy!

Oops, forgot. He doesn't even really believe that crap about how a judge in a court, hence the Great American Justice System, would have protected him from that question, hence it was a bad question. It was just SPIN he used to make his questioner look bad, unfair and, unlike himself, un-devoted to seeking the truth.

*whew* I sure do feel better now.

Not really.

21. This guy spent too much time as a lawyer, and can't change.
Lawyers don't generally have the skills to manage organizations or people, even in the best of times. I am a lawyer and I've seen too much of this first hand.

He doesn't understand that lawyer speak won't solve the problems and won't get him out of hot water. Most people hate lawyers anyway, but they'll hate them more in charge of something that really affects their lives.
