Weren't there massive military drills in the South a month ago???

I'm remembering something about massive military exercises that happened about a month ago. I believe they were conducted in the South (possibly Atlanta??).

I remember people on DU were concerned about these odd military operations and exercises.

Does anyone remember this story and what these military exercises or "drills" were about?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed, and also that I'm providing little information.

I remembered hearing about these massive military drills in the South, and it kinda gave me the chills--given the massive military operations (combat, nonetheless) that are going on right now in LA.

Any insight is welcome and appreciated.

1. South Carolina and Texas

SC was a nuclear terrorism drill.
TX was a bioterrorism drill.
