No matter how hard the admin. tries to spin
this massive failure, people will not and can not forget the pictures coming over the television. The people have seen all the misery, failures, deaths from inaction first hand and in their face. There will be retribution for this!

1. Big Lie theory finally fails
They can keep saying they didn't know, no requests made etc ad nauseum but no one is buying it.

2. Let's face it: It took the media FINALLY STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE,
Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 02:06 PM by chalky
showing the images, advocating for the people, crying and (at last!) showing their own humanity, to burst the "Big Lie" bubble.

6. Yep
Better late than never. I wish it didn't have to be such a tragic event to make the press do their jobs, but what a huge difference it makes.

3. Welcome to post-Katrina America.
No more lies.

They can't blame the levees in NO for the slow FEMA response in MS. Nor can they blame the mayor of NO or the Gov. of LA for the slow response in MS. They can try, but it won't work. Katrina changes everything.

10. I hope you're...
right. But the grip the GOP has on this country will allow them to PR thy're way out of this one too.I heard people defending Bush on the radio this morning. Let's face it folks ,Americans as a whole are pretty fucking stupid. Example-The automotive industry has been running "Buy at Employee Pricing " for three months. We will buy anything in this country if we are told often enough.

5. except they will blame it on the states
and it depends if the media lets them spin this lie or not

what I suspect is a 9/11 type committee which will cover each others butts, no one will get blamed, but it is a collective blame, blah, blah, blah

I hope I am wrong

7. But what makes me sick is that tens of thousands of people
had to die for people to finally wake up.

Freepers, I know you're reading this, so listen up. These deaths are on YOUR heads, every stinking last one of you. May God have mercy on your soul.

8. Amen!
And not only that, we will hear from the victims themselves slowly but surely via the local free press!

9. Faux vs CNN
Just a quick observation. I turned on the tv for the first time today. CNN talking about how the last few days have been a manmade disaster. While Faux is talking about the heros who saved people. I don't like to take away from a good story. But it's Faux choosing to slant. At least that was my first impression upon tuning in first time today.
