My niece is alive!

Finally, I have hope. She filled me in on a few other family members - we've lost two. Nothing from any of my friends yet.

12. Yes...they're dead

Home was in Mandeville and it's now a flat piece of concrete. They were her grandparents on her father's side. They were too old and frail to evacuate, unfortunately, and the relatives I have there are scattered all over the place, so no one made it there in time to help them.
