that's the real marvel. even local media are saying 'things looking alot better now, in NOLA, thanks to bush ordering more aid' etc as if the story started only when the problems became appalling (thus necessitating swift bushian action!)
america isn't going to survive the pigmedia...a local freeper type this morning joking about '100 dead guys' found in well 'fulla stolen televisions' etc....at least he never used the 'n' word (really, fox'news' has instructed the freepers on how to 'show some breeeding' at least linguistically!) tried to tell him that greyhound had cancelled bus service saturday afternoon (2 days prior to levees breaking) but he refused to believe it. he says he gets his 'news' from fox 'guarding the henhouse' news, and i wonder; how in hell is a democratic society ever to overcome the plain fact that the 'big lie' method works marvellously when society is progressing (it disappears forgotten when society is 'recovering' from its debauchery indulging in the selfish pleasures the lies seemingly justified)
