BATTLE OF BLOGGER

AN internet boss's weblog is telling the world about the horror in New Orleans.

Almost all other communication has gone - but battling Michael Barnett and staff at Intercosmos Media Group are using a diesel generator to keep their data centre alive plus its 800,000 web sites.

There have now been thousands of hits for the former soldier's blog from Outpost Crystal which began: "Hmm. This could actually be a nasty storm."

Under the name The Interdictor, Barnett wrote in the early hours of Thursday: "The coroner's office is shut so bodies are being covered in leaves."
