Housing people on CRUISE SHIPS is a bad idea folks |
|
Remember last year all the boats that came back to port because everybody got sick.
Now put on these boats, lots of people who are weak and sick already. We're asking for another disaster and we've already had enough of that.
I know Carnival is very generous for this offer but it would be better and safer to use that money to house these people in hotels. There are 1000's of properties in the US. These boats will become death traps.

1. People get sick in hotels too. Leigionaires disease.... |
|
They don't even have to use the cruise line food, use what they are using now. Doing this is better than doing nothing and it's for six months.

4. It's easier to evacuate people from land |
|
then it is at sea. They have no intention of letting these people return to land once they get sick.

3. I Agree -- Cruise Ships Are Shitholes |
|
My folks took my family on a cruise to Bermuda last year. I'm not really clear on why people pay money to go on those boats.

5. House the right population |
|
Housing the people on ships who are needed to get the port open would be a good idea. Get the jobs back, get the port open.
But that might make too much sense for the idiots who are managing this disaster.

7. Not everybody got sick. Only a small percentage. |
|
And besides, people will get sick no matter where they are. It's not like they'll be stuck in there....they will be allowed to come and go.

9. We are not talking about people who were healthy to begin with |
|
and who were ALLOWED to come in to port and leave the boats. We are talking lots of people with already seriously compromised immune systems, who will never be allowed off the boats once they get sick.
