Constituents are angry seeing the embarrassment that bu$h and his cronies are turning out to be. They may finally smell the bullshit and choose to put some fresh faces on Capitol Hill. They may be afraid of losing their jobs.
If I'm not mistaken, repug senators and house members told Nixon to resign during Watergate.

1. I guess it depends on how dirty their hands are.
I think they are pretty dirty, as heretofore even our democratic reps often toe the same line. If some of the dems are dirty, count on the republicans being absolutely filthy.

5. My reps are filthy
but I don't see them ever changing or anyone here who does not already hate them ever changing their votes.

6. I do not trust Martinez at all, and I do not trust Nelson (FL not NE) yet
I have not been able to determine whether he is a sell out or not. My gut feeling says he is, as the few votes I have seen have indicated his being a sell out. Mr. Boyd, the rep here, seems to be some sort of Dixiecrat.

7. Brownback and Roberts
are both in too deep to change now I fear. Neither are trustworthy unless you consider knowing they will vote with Bush's** wishes everytime is trustworthy. Unfortunately I don't think the people of Kansas want to acknowledge that they are voing for the devil yet, I kinda think they like it.

God Bond should just finish drinking himself silly. I have not seen him drunk in public. But I have had ultra-pukes laugh about his intoxication. My what jerks we have for leaders.

I just remember 2000's silver lining...AssKKKroft beat by a corpse. Classic!!

Prisonmandering, etc. etc.

They don't need votes anymore.

4. My answer to that is we need to make sure America is so far left
following this that any rigged elections would be grossly visible in polls and exit polls that a revolution would be in order.

3. I think some will, but I have no idea how many or who.
I already heard McCain spoke out against the lack of speed in the Fed. response, and Susan Collins is to head a Senate investigation into it. Sad to say, the Pub officials from the devistated areas all seem to be still kissing Shrub's a**!

8. That's normally how it would work. But I believe that they are all--
Mepublicans and dems--so afraid of the neocons and their media whores and their corporate thugs that nobody is willing to risk it. Whether they are afraid of ending up like Wellstone or like Dashle, the vast majority of this govt. seems to be busily bowing and scraping. The CBC, Kuccinich and Feingold are VERY noticable exceptions and should be very proud of themselves.
