We're in the Great Leap - can you feel it?
Isn't it clear by now that Bush has taken too hard a blow to survive politically? That some change will take place soon, for worse or better, that will shape the foreseeable future?
It's the Great Leap, where momentous events sets off changes at a quickening pace, too fast for anyone to influence or manipulate.

The Leap back to the Old World Order? Probably, if things are proceeding the old order way. But Bush is omnipotent because he's the president, and could also choose to escalate things beyond repair if cornered.

Things are gonna change, though. I don't think this will die away.

1. I forsee him in a mental breakdown during impeachment trials.
He will go out back and talk to himself, while Cheney and the others attempt to run the whole Pentagon under guns a blazing.

There's too much big oil at stake, the terrorists for Cheney will give up when the blood is spilt!

11. Um, are you forgetting?
The neocons are almost universally chickenhawks. If they can't contract out their fighting - and that will get increasingly difficult - then they run away.

6. Yep!......I feel it!
It's about time. Too bad it took such a disaster to really expose the corruption, lack of vision, and absence of leadership.

That is a great photo!

15. I felt it when Cindy Sheehan went to Crawford
I think we can find that feeling again if we don't let them get the best of us.

We already know about shock and awe and we aren't buying it this time.

19. Yes! And Cindy should be a continued inspiration for us all
Her way of doing things are all good.

This started with Cindy and the Camp Casey people, and their respectful way of gathering support in Texas. I don't think Crawford will be the same again.

16. Thanks, but it is not mine
My bad habit: collecting pics and forgetting to copy the source ;-)

It is an unknown woman, but boy does she know how to jump!

I hope it will resolve into peace and justice worthy of a modern nation like the US. I am not that pessimistic about the prospects.
There are many political manouvres being done behind the scene now, and the pressure of the MSM will keep people on the alert.

The MSM already seems to have taken the leap - I seem to sense a new tone and approach to Bush. They seem happier too ;-)

9. You are correct.
Remember, Bush won on the "security" issue. Katrina shows that Bush can't or won't protect Americans. His minions are being caught in lies left, right, and center. The only issue on which Bush had support no longer will support him. Independents will abandon him in droves - and have already.

Smart Republicans will begin beating a hasty retreat from Bush. Dumb ones (Delay we're looking at you) will become increasingly comical and politically impotent. Bush is already a lame duck. He might as well resign for all the influence he will have for the next 3-1/2 years.
