Leader Blames Lack Of Medical Care

NEW ORLEANS -- Another desperate situation is unfolding in New Orleans -- this time, at the city's international airport.

Many of the people there are suffering because of a lack of medical care.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist -- a surgeon who visited the airport Saturday -- said, "The hallways are filled, the floors are filled."

He added, "A lot more than eight to ten people are dying a day."

Frist said the doctors and nurses there are doing a "great job." He describes it as a "distribution problem."

Why haven't these people been flown out to other hospitals. Don't they have insurance?

...then trying to stabilize them and move them to appropriate facilities.

Bush snake salesman, but he finally spoke out on stem cells, and these quotes on NO seem to indicate another criticism of this administration. Let's not discourage him on this. Baby steps and all.
