Fox just showed Al Gore in disaster region....
He was talking to what appeared to be NG troops, and patted one on the shoulder.

He wouldn't give comment to Fox news.

1. Haha, suckas.
Al Gore isn't going to play your little game.

If Bush doesn't have to explain himself/give press conferences/answer questions, neither does Al Gore.

Guy James just said that Gore flew in a plane to help take out some of the sick. That shows class, what one would expect from the REAL President of the US.

24. Yes. He is a weightlifter.
The MSM managed to ridiculed him for that during the 2000 campaign. The assholes.

BTW how was this coordinated? Which hospitals are involved?
Are those critically ill patients trasferable at all?
Does the plane has necessary equipment? How did he get it?
Whose plane it is? Who pays for this?

Does anybody know the details?

27. It was coordinated and paid for by Gore himself
He got hospitals to agree to take the patients several days ago - - no details on which hospitals, Washington Week said Chicago & Knoxville. CNN said that the patients he transfered were critically ill.

44. Yes...
Ninety of the passengers were patients from Mercy Hospital in New Orleans, according to Knox County spokesman Dwight Van de Vate.

A dozen patients were taken to Blount Memorial Hospital. Ten were treated and released. Two were admitted to the hospital. Those not admitted to Blount Memorial Hospital will go to a shelter at Blount Christian Church in Maryville. Three people checked into the shelter on Saturday.

Several patients were diabetic, and some needed dialysis. Many patients had been without medication for ``several days,'' but were ``relatively stable,'' said Dr. Roger Brooksbank, an emergency physician with Team Health at Blount Memorial Hospital.

The remaining 40 passengers were evacuees who needed no ``acute medical care,'' according to Van de Vate. Regardless, all were taken to hospitals in Knoxville, Blount County, Oak Ridge and Jefferson County for evaluation. They were divided among the hospitals to prevent overwhelming them.

38. Nice
I live in Tennessee and we're taking people as well. Local hospitals and such (I'm in Chattanooga). Also, our local housing is letting people pay whatever they can to help them to live here till they can go home and our governor is letting college students stay at our univerisities for free. UTK had a game earlier today and they took donations at the stadium. I'm so proud of my state. :)

Thanks for doing all those great things. :yourock:

I wish we had some sort of number regarding the evacuees sent to other states. They've got them spread out so far across the country, there must be many tens of thousands.
