pukes already suggesting that entitlement programs and health care be cut to pay for the largest rebuilding effort in our history. So, the poor get poorer, and the conditions that contributed to this tragedy will get even worse. Great. But, are you DUers willing to pay a tax hike to help pay for everything?

8. Yes!
With the price of oil now, we can do it bigger and better.

And we all felt * didn't know what he was doing. Shame on us.

2. Just print more money and sell more bonds
i.e., borrow it. Heaven knows it's not coming out of any of the tax cuts.

6. With as much looting of our treasury as they've done...
I don't think even that will make much of a dent.

9. let's cut funding for all those other stupid public
works projects. We need to permanently repeal the "death tax" right on time on Tuesday, consolidate the media a little more and hire more pr consultants. All will then be well. :sarcasm:

12. Follow up: what kind of question is that?
People are dying. Saving them should be done efficiently. No need to waste, when so many people are in need.

However, there shouldn't be a price limit on saving people's lives.

When people are dying, it's no time to be cheap.
