i'm prety sure that the maid broke the law when she recorded the conversations. i'm pretty sure that makes the tapes inadmissible.

she had access to his home so she could have sent any emails to herself from his computer.

so we have the word of one person who has profited by selling the story as evidence and nothing else.

i hope that still is not enough to prosecute someone on wod charges.
if i am wrong then we are even deeper into trouble than i thought.

... you are specualting as to the standard of proof and the evidence. I think a jury should decide if he is guilty, and mete out an appropriate punishment if he is.

Of course, that is a pipe dream, there is no justice applied against rich people in this country except for the most heinous violent crimes.

Witnesses might be mistaken or intend to deceive but circumstantial evidence does not lie....

and Rush has hired an attorney....it has been reported that Rush has bought "thousands" of illegal Rx drugs in Palm Beach over the course of this investigation...also the Enquire would not have printed this story if it were not true, due to their higher rate of being sued...they are VERY careful and thus makes their stories more reliable then mainstream news...imho...I'm sorry I can NOT muster up any empathy for this hypocrit!...also note in story "she came forward after being granted immunity"...the investigation was already in progress and the police knew that Rush was buying before the maid recorded Rush.

At the time, doctors said they were unsure of the exact cause of Limbaugh's hearing loss, but said that overuse of medication was not a factor.

Limbaugh would not reveal the cause of his deafness.

Coincidentally, the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, where Limbaugh sought treatment, discovered in 1999 that some of its patients with sudden hearing loss had overused a common painkiller that combines hydrocodone and acetaminophen.

They have really cracked down on Oxycontin lately...it's a very dangerous drug...I'm sure it varies from state to state...in some places, mere illegal possesion of Schedule II drugs is a felony.
