Have Wal-Mart or any other companies made significant grants for relief?

1. A few I know - - Disney $2.5 million, Hasbro $2.5 million + toys

They have reportedly donated 17 million so far.

and that they are going to open Mini-Wal Marts, with a limited selection of everyday necessities...and everything will be FREE! Now that is how you can help those who need it the most. I believe it was on AAR news the other day.

They could fill some of their trucks with toiletries and some clothes to get supplies to shelters. It would be a great help and get them some brownie points which they best start earning

11. I visited a local wal-mart in Riverside (#2028 - [phone] )

and at the front doors they were selling tons of bottled water of at $3 which no one is buying, wouldnt it be better to donote that water since no one wants it anyway when I saw this I walked out and went to the KMART down the street.

and we went into WalMart and in the front entrance they had a sign about relief and what you could do to help New Orleans and the areas effected.
