Why is Greta Van Sustern acting like this is some party?
It's very jolting to watch Geraldo with people who are crying, etc., and then watch Greta, who's scarily jubilant over there in Texas.

I understand that Greta is relieved, as we all are, that they have finally made it to a place with electricity and water...but her attitude is kind of weird. Is it just me?

My problem, probably, is that I'm watching FOX at all.

1. It might just be the Botox
It's really hard to display emotions when your facial muscles are pumped full of it, I'm told.

5. Did she have a stroke or something?? Cuz half her face is lower
than the other half. And she speaks outta one side of her mouth. She makes me nervous (jittery) and I cant watch her. I knw she had plastic surgery (big help THAT was) so maybe they shot her up with too much botox and paralyzed her.

7. It's off notch
As if Fox is clinging to an agenda that just doesn't work but they keep at it. It is a good thing that people in Houston are getting medical care and sustenance. But the switching back and forth does feel odd. And then I am switching around channels. So I saw Celine on CNN, too.

8. Hey! Did they finally let her out of Abuba?
Hell, I thought she was still there!

I never watch Fox, but I read posts here that once in a while mention that she was still in Aruba talking about the missing blond girl. I din't realize they let her out!

11. Greta, Nancy Grace, the two bimbos who play pro/con on
Nancy's shows, fill in the blank with any others you can think of (such as Foghorn Cosby) should be blasted into space for eternity. They hurt our ears and our brains.

12. II had to switch from FAUX after seing Geraldo fawning over Frist....
and jubilantly comparing the scene to Baghdad. At least he was real last night about letting the people walk out of their prisons of the Dome and stadium.

13. Ya know, I REALLY don't get the snide remarks about
ANY station/anchor being ecstatic that people are finally getting some goddamned relief. !!!!!!!!

I despise fox news for politics, but they have always been right on top of shit when disasters occur.

When this tragedy is over, I'll block fox...maybe. See, I'm not as cynical as some people in here. KNOW THY ENEMY is my philosophy. It's foolish to bury head in sand and not take a peek into what the other side is up to.

Even though the relief effort was TOO FUCKING SLOW (bushco incompetence), it's still okay to thank ALL the military types for whatever relief they were able to provide, and yes, even thank Bush's Texas for their generosity. I enjoy Geraldo too, even if he is a bit hyper.

:eyes:
