A note to our Democrat Representatives and Senators
**I posted this yesterday as a note to the MSM, thought I might give the Dems one last chance as well**

Ok Democrat Senators and Representatives, I know you guys lurk around in here. This is how this is gonna go down. We are willing to forgive you for kissing the presidents ass for all these years. We are willing to forget that you spent the last 5 years sitting on your hands while this corrupt administration stole our country out from under us. But now you have seen with your own eyes, the ineptitude and the arrogance that lie at the heart of this administration. If you believe that the arrival of relief and the arrival of the POTUS to New Orleans and other Gulf Coast cities was a wonderful coincidence, then, to put it bluntly, you are stupid. And that is why you are finally going to help us. Because now, it’s a matter of, if you don’t, you won’t just look like government shills, you will look, stupid. You would be an embarrassment to your profession, and let me tell you, the job market is tough these days.
It is now blatantly obvious that this administration had relief for hurricane victims held back until Bush arrived, so they could get their photo-op. There were reports here at DU last night of trucks being held up outside the city limits. I would say that evidence of this would prove a crime has been committed against the American people. Maybe many crimes. These aren’t Iraqi’s or Afghani people dying of dehydration these are Americans. If nothing else you should be furious that Rove would think you were so stupid that you would believe that this was just an amazing coincidence. Now get to work and help us remove these criminals from office before something worse happens. Thank you for your time.

1. The Dems were going to wait to go after Bush until people were safe,
but they've already lost the message to the Repug spin machine. As usual.

It's over. NOLA will be shoved aside, no one will care, they already don't care, apparently, according to the WaPo poll.

We have no leadership, except for Clark and a few fighters in Congress.

Very disappointing. I should have know when I called Reid's office and got this affable guy who acted like he didn't have a care in the world. He seemed uninterested and sound like he didn't care either...

2. I don't think it's over yet.
There are still alot of people screaming about this. What is really encouraging is all the Republicans that are pissed off. We're not just talking mistakes here we are talkin criminal negligence. Holding back the relief trucks fro Bush's photo-op is a crime.

3. Remember what Conyers, Nadler and the rest did?
They denounced Sensenbrenner on the floor and voted a resolution out to Censure him for his fascist ways. It worked and Senseless Brenner went out looking like a disgrace with red on his face!!!!

Now why can't the REST of the democrats be like that?!???!? WHERE IS THEIR LEADERSHIP?

Oh and I agree fully with you-It's time for them to get prepared, and get fighting and someone to introduce resolution of impeachment. Its WAY PAST TIME for their age of accountability, including for the indifferent democrats!

Write to them and DEMAND resignations and keep running it on!!

4. I've been calling my Senators,
but at the next opportunity, I will DEMAND an answer to why the Red Cross was prevented to enter NO.

The Red Cross goes everywhere; all sorts of hostile environments. But they were "forbidden" to go into NO?

Read the transcript of Marty Evans, President and CEO of the Red Cross on 'Larry King Live' http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0509/02/lkl.01.html

It's all there. Evans' excuses for not going into NO are completely bogus IMHO. But read farther down. Evans praises Bush's "compassion."

Get it? Refusing aid is "compassionate." So sez Bush and Red Cross President Evans.
