Karel caller said they will build expensive housing in NOLA |
|
Once they drain NOLA, housing will be built that the current residents will never be able to afford. I had completely forgot about greedy developers. But the caller said she came to this conclusion when B* talked about how beautifully everything will be rebuilt. And she thought it was another reason why he waited so long. She thought he did that so people would die and be out of the way.

1. I think everyone fears that will come to pass |
|
:( That was why I suggested earlier that we write our congress people and insist that these people be appointed a non-partisan ombudsman.

2. I have been thinking that too. In NYC many old neighborhoods |
|
are too expensive for the natives. Same in parts of Connecticut and the Boston area. When they rebuild, it won't be for the natives. Let's see how good the levees are then.

5. Karel now arguing with Dr. Bill comeing up next on KGO |
|
Karel asked Dr. Bill what he was going to talk about. And Dr. Bill said he was going to talk about the other side - the loud mouths blaming the government. Karel accused him of bringing this up right during the transition from one show to the next when there's no time to debate it. Dr. Bill sucks major ****.

...one part Midland-Odessa (for the oil-and-gas crowd) and one part Colonial Williamsburg.
There'll be townships somewheres about for the help to live in.
Think Jo-berg, with a Creole accent.
