My congressman is on the Judiciary committee.
if we can put together a list of his dereliction of duty which is an impeachable offense, we can present it to him and the judiciary committee.

we have a list started in GD,Politics

but it's not for discussion, only for articles of impeachment for dereliction of duty and links to the story and entire story or paragraphs of it.

2. Allowing Americans to suffer while resources were available

Impeding the delivery of those resources through delayed decision making.

Imeding the delivery of needed resources through poor decision making.

Gross indifference to human suffering.

Ineffective command and contrnol networks.

But my favorite, and we can round them all up on this:

conspiracy to defraud the federal government.

This was the broad charge used against Watergate conspirators...it means government employees getting paid but doing such a lousy job you've cheated the Federal government...well, whad do you say...it's so true of all of them.

Ignored warnings prior to 9/11 attacks
Lied about justification for the Iraq War
Criminally negligent in not sending help to the Gulf Coast immediately

All of the above have resulted in many thousands of deaths.

4. Build a timeline for Bush's activities during the first five days

of the disaster.

On Sunday he managed one sentence in a speech about Iraq and one faked out photo op that they didn't even bother to plug the phones it.

On Monday he went to Arizona and ate cake with John McCain.

On Tuesday he went to CA and played guitar for a photo op. He also went to a Navy base and had everyone hang around for another ceremony and photo op.

On Wednesday he finally decided to end his vacation and headed back to DC.

On Thursday he made an inane speech that didn't accomplish anything.

On Friday he tied up half the rescue efforts so that he could fly around and do more photo ops.

(At least, that's what I remember off the top of my head)

This whole week has been a major FLOP. Failure to Lead On Purpose.
