2. Not sure... rage takes energy and he has to be exhausted....
If he is steeling himself for the marathon ahead, I'd guess he's come to realize that...

3. Why are you even speculating about such a thing?
 It doesn't seem terribly productive and you have absolutely no evidence.

13. Let's try this experiment
Why don't I lock you in a closet and terrorize your family in the next room for a week while you hear their screams.

When I let you out, let's see how chipper you are.

The man has got to be at the edge. Rage does take energy, and he pretty clearly has stated in several interviews he's saving Bush and Blanco and Chertoff and Brown for later.

Bush let the city be "out of control". Then - on pain of causing race
riots across the country he can quiet people down by saying : Be responsible.

10. In his interview with Nic Robertson...
Nagin volunteered that he was convinced that Bush 'got it' when Bush promised to build a New New Orleans that would be a shining example to the world. In other words, Bush bribed him.

11. They have a home. It's called America. We'll get them some Houses
as soon as we can. Habitat for Humanity is already working on that.

12. Nagin said he didn't want to pick a fight AT THIS TIME.
What do you guys want him to do?

He got what he called for. The National Guard is in New Orleans and by and large is doing a good job. People are being rescued. Work on the levees has been resumed and the outlook is improving.

He did an incredible job under an impossible situation.
