My choice for Chief Justice (please hope I'm wrong)

George Walker Bush, illegitimate pResident of the United States, is going to attempt to make history by appointing not only the first minority Chief Justice, but the first woman Chief Justice. No Democrat will ever vote against a minority female, so the thinking goes.

At the same time, Bush will bring much-needed new blood onto the Supreme Court, that increasingly hidebound institution, by naming a Chief Justice who has never served on the Supreme Court.

And at the same time, he's got to choose wisely and make sure to pick someone whose career is completely dependent on Bush; this way, when the impeachment is brought in, he might get off.

This is why Bush is going to elevate Janice Rogers Brown from a lowly circuit court judge to the exalted position of Chief Justice of the United States.
