Hit 'em where it hurts and say this to every republican cool-aid drinker. I think this is why the press is doing their job now and why they weren't doing it before. Maybe...

Maybe the press thought that Bush actually was protecting us despite his obvious failures and tears in the constitution. Maybe the press thought that all this horrible torture and war was really there to make us safer.

Now it is there for every American to see... Bush is drowning our ability to protect ourselves.
