Cheney postpones visit to Canada

Toronto — U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney has postponed a visit to Canada later this week in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, officials said Sunday.

Cheney had planned to visit Alberta on Thursday and Friday, stopping first in Calgary, then visiting Fort McMurray and touring the massive tar sands projects there.

So, where is he, REALLY?

1. Cheney has virtually been living in Alberta

he was there when I was up there fishing in early Aug. Why? he's cashing in on the oil sands deals. Trust me, Cheney is much more visible in Alberta than he is in the US

Cheney is pure evil, the human equivalent of Katrina

2. Stuck in the tar sands, then?
I'm sorry for Albertans, though I'm aware of the conservative moguls there who are ready to cut a deal with Uncle Dick.

It's better for Cheney to be seen in Edmonton than New Orleans. I'd stay away, too, if I were him.

4. Dick had other priorities this past week. The most powerful VP in history
can't stop fishing for two fucking minutes to even go through the motions of pretending to give a shit about the people in New Orleans. Probably too busy working out how much his cut of the cleanup is going to be.

5. Ahhh, the raping and pillaging will be postponed for a few days.
How sweet of Dick.
