Ray McGovern, "55% chance Bush administraton will plant WMDs"
and he's going to speak in Greensboro NC on Sunday.

http://www.news-record.com/news/local/sanity03rk.htm

Regarding novak-gate;

"This was a deliberate violation of something very sacred in our business," he said. "Bush has absolutely no interest in finding out which one of his servants caused this to happen," he said.

1. I'd say 55% of voters that think they found WMDs.
American voters are so un-informed. I would bet you that most think they are already found and removed by our people. Don't you suspect the use of personnel in full biological suits on camera run over and over again on TV will leave that impression?

I love when they talk about North Korea's nuke plans and use file footage of what appears to be a 1950's Korean bakery every time they mention North Korea. Have you seen the big white hats on Korean's?

I as a result, am very afraid of bread goods from North Korea.

2. I think it's higher than 55%, Ray
Closer to 95%, I think.

These criminals have been consistenly emboldened by getting away with things like the no-bid contracts and having the EPA lie to the best and bravest (thus shortening their lives with terrible respiratory ailments) in NYC.

As we know, getting away with shit in broad daylight only makes criminals more bold.

Always.

10. Could They Plant Them And Make It Believable?
Somehow it just seems a speck farfetched... but maybe I'm optimistic.

3. I don't think it matters though
voters don't really care about Iraq anymore it's yesterday's news. So there was WMDs? Great, now fix the economy.

5. RE: fake WMD's
Apparently Kuwait is claiming that they intercepted historical artifacts and 'other items' which they 'haven't verified' are chemical or biological warheads.

Doesn't the Bush family have strong ties with Kuwait? Are they preparing something for the Media maybe?

6. Give him some credit
From same article ..
... "McGovern joined "the company," as the CIA is known, in 1963, believing it was the best way for a Russian-studies major to serve his country. He worked for four Republican and three Democratic administrations and said no one ever pressured him to exaggerate intelligence for political gain." ... :spank:

Some in the "intelligence" community are not willing to be played as the dupes in the grand scheme. Thank You Jesus!! And the guy is preaching to traditional republicans. I say WTG :hi:

8. Actually, it's 54.625% . . . .
Am I the only person who finds that kind of quantitative statement ridiculous?

11. Cranky
I understood that to mean "better than 50-50" ... just a turn of phrase. Not the implication of precision you balk against.
