1. not red cross - it will not get to the poor victims - find

local - go to louisiana gov site -

there are many place where the money will actually get to the people who need it - red cross is on a big fund raiser and most of 911 money did not get to the poor

2. I'm not going to get into an argument

about the Red Cross, but disagree. Let people do their donating the way they want; this is just an additional option.

3. just trying to inform - since there are so many organizations

that get the help right to the poor people while Red Cross gets the money but uses it for other 'projects'
