Latest poll (this time CBS) - Clark is STILL ahead of all others!
Clark is in double digits at 14%, while everybody else is in the single digits! Still the best, no doubt about it! Clark will whoop *'s arse sooooo bad in '04!

1. Clark hasn't won yet
He's still got a lot to prove. General's stars aren't going to make up for the total lack of policy statements from the guy. They're not going to make up for his lack of cash and grassroots support.

Now that can change. That can change well before New Hampshire. But it has to change, or he's going down.

2. I am still not convinced that these numbers are solid.
If he is still in the lead in late November, I will believe that they are for real. Right now, I think what we are seeing is excitement over new blood.

3. Not an endorsement...repeat: Not an endorsement
I got a big kick out of Clark's line in his speech this morning...

went something like this: ...I don't take much stock in polls but if the polls are right, George Bush is going to need brothers in 49 other states in order to win this next election.....

Funny line....crowd ate it up....

4. That is a great line
Of course, they way things are going, nearly any of the front runners could say the same.

5. Margin of Error: +/- 5 points
Sampling Number = 353

And since Clark and Dean are 5 points apart...

7. Whatever! Since he announced, Clark has been ahead in all polls
except one, I believe. All one has to do is use common sense to recognize what appears to be the inevitable nomination of General Clark for the Democratic presidential ticket in 2004. If this occurs, IMO, Clark has the best chance of delivering our country from the * nightmare.

8. Compare the "with titles" numbers to the "without titles" numbers
Wes Clark's numbers drop from 14% to 10% when the pollsters identified him as "General Wesley Clark" instead of just "Wesley Clark." Lieberman's and Gephardt's numbers nearly tripled when their titles were given.

Am I the only one who's saddened about just how uninformed the electorate is?

10. But he's not ahead in Iowa or New Hampshire.
A national poll won't mean didly until after those primaries.
