Didn't some of the CA polls have Gore trailing Bush?

In 2000 didn't some of the polls have Bush leading Gore by up to 10 points? At the least I remember some showing it a "dead heat". I remember they poured lots of money into CA and it was pretty much a waste...

If so maybe Southern CA was oversampled then as well as now...Maybe people should relax a little and while I think it would suck to have Arnold win, I don't know if a lot of us people outside of CA should really care -- as long as Bush doesn't win in '04...and I don't see why Arnold winning will all of a sudden let Bush win the state...

1. I believe in the last few weeks of the election, there was one poll

that showed Bush and Gore in a statistical dead heat. Considering that Gore beat Bush by 11.8%, this poll was clearly inaccurate. I suspect it was a push poll meant to help GOP turnout. Most of the other polls showed Gore way out in the front.

All the polls had Gore winning easily. That's why Gore spent no time here and spent very little money.

California in general is not that stupid.

It was hyped on the librul media. "Will Bush carry the Dem stronghold of CA" and shit like that.

Most polls shoed this as BS, but it was hyped anyway.
