NO Times Picayune 5 part series from 2002 called "Washing Away"

It is pretty obvious that the Bu$h doesn't read when he said the other day that, "No one imagined the levees would break."

Pretty much everyone was saying it and have been saying it for a long time. Public Televisions NOW had a program on the consequences of a levee break in New Orleans, and the New Orleans paper wrote this 5 part series on the levees back in 2002. This series was written before the funding for the project was cut in 2003 due to the Iraq War and the tax cuts for the wealthy.
