MSNBC just reported that the 17th St. levee has been repaired
...and they're starting to pump the water out of NO.

2. From the pictures they showed, it was mainly just sandbags
...and anything else they could stuff in there. Definately not a permanent fix, but it's a start.

5. Question: should the levees be fixed while the "soup" is in the bowl?
Seems to me to block the water from leaving the city at this point defeats the purpose?

Am I wrong?
