1. I say Sean Hannity....
I'm sure he would say something just as stupid or moreso than Rush.

2. Me!
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 03:30 PM by VermontDem2004
I know football, why not me? I study key matchups and follow the key players on each teams, the offenses and defenses. :evilfrown:

edit: I notice your from Tucson, if you are a wildcat fan I despise you.

edit #2: I hope you don't take my first edit seriously.

7. Actually, I'm from Montana but I live in Tucson now
I don't like Wildcat football that much. I know a few players from class and all, but I've been a Washington Husky guy for a long time. Love college football.

8. Oh c'mon VermontDem!
A Broncos fan *and* you don't know about the Linfield/PLU rivalry? Give me a break -- that empty chair at ESPN has "gratuitous" written all over it, so just admit it. Admit it, I say!

:hi:

You've been talking about it all week, I just don't know where the colleges are, but I know my PRO football. How about they hire us both. :hi:

10. Well, okay
But since I don't travel well, how about you show up at the studios, and I draw the paycheck? That seems a reasonable division of responsibilities to me, and since you possess some actual football knowledge and expertise, I'm sure you'd do much better with the commentary. I'm very practiced at cashing checks, so that plays to my strengths. Another win-win situation!

4. none of the above
Let's stick to football.

Hopefully, those geniuses at ESPN realize their mistake in hiring controversial political figures like Rush.

What the hell were they thinking!

12. That's the question "What were they thinking?"
Obviously, they were thinking something.
