In the simplest of terms......will the American people really accept the notion that the big bad president of the United States was forced NOT to rescue citizens because of the governor of one relatively smallish state? If anything, the sight of the military going in late with all kinds of power can only reinforce the idea that such excuses and whining are nonsense. Sort of like hearing a 300 pound linebacker say he couldn't execute his play in time because the 130 pound place kicker held him back.
And then, there's the absolute fact that the Gov's request for aid came on the 26th of August.

8. "Bushco blame won't stick"? The corporate media must ignore their
master, Rove, or they will lose all credibility. They will fall on their faces trying to save Chimpy's bacon on this obvious, monumental failure.

Too much information already out there. And more to come.

2. Yes, he has the ultimate
power over all other agencies/entities... it was his job to tell them what to do & how to do it when they were supposedly hung up by the red tape.... and now he's trying to lay the blame on someone "under" him. Coward.

3. It's already flopped, like a big ugly stinking turd.
She has kicked the Coward's butt. Try to see her press conference on local tv earlier.

7. Iraq Iraq Iraq
The Louisiana National Guard was short 3000 personnel, equipment, including helicopters, high water vehicle and generators to support Bush's war.

There was nothing the state could do to fill that void. Offers from other states were held up in Washington until Thursday.

Who's at fault there is a no-brainer. Which describes the target audience for this ploy.

9. That's a great talking point.
I'll use that one for sure; I'll try and word it so the very idea almost emasculates *. His supporters will be between a rock and a hard place if I talk it that way. Talk about a wedge issue...

Great observation, btw!
