to go into even WORSE conditions. I am hearing the COMPLETE interview with survivors now, most recently on a BBC broadcast.
One guy even left the horrible conditions at the Convention Center, wading through chest high filthy water, to return to his home. To him, it was the lesser of two evils, and I can't disagree with him.

Then you hear the damned spin on this from those in "damage control", making it sound like these people are too crazy to know when to leave.

that some turned down the rescuers because they thought they would have to pay for the helicopter ride and couldn't afford it. How sad is that?
