Karl Rove must think that the average American has the attention span of a
gnat

He and the White House Communications group just keep spinning like dervishes (see the Huffington Post and Arianna's latest essay)

The bottom line is Georgie boy STAYED ON VACATION and for 5 days did everything BUT pay attention to events happening in the gulf region.

OUR GULF REGION

There is photographic evidence that he was having a good ol time for himself

There are stupid statements that he has made since showing his lack of sensitivity: regarding Trent Lott's house, and what a great job "Brownie" and all the other fellas are doing.

By acting in this manner Georgie boy's demeanor has threatened the National Security of the US.

Those terrorists that he loves to go on and on about are certainly getting plenty of intelligence about our "Capabilities"Or should I say LACK OF CAPABILITIES.

George W Bush, by his actions and his statements and by his hiring of clearly incompetent people to incredibly important posts has done incredible harm to this nation and has shown all American and the rest of the world that he is INCAPABLE of performing his job as President of the United States

We must not forget, and we must use every opportunity to point this out

1. The real problem for Rove is the BODY COUNT
will take a long time to come out and will come out in pieces every night.

2. I hate to be the one to break it to you....
..but he's right. Most Americans do have the attention span of a gnat. Particularly that mushy middle ground group of people who don't pay close attention to politics and unfortunately for them and the rest of the country are the ones who swing elections. Their short attention span is the reason Rove and company win elections. Plain and simple. Pathetic but true.

3. Well thank god they're finally waking up and not sleeping.....
By taking hits in all their wallets due to gas and every other problem, for no other reason, and seeing through the bullshit ticky tacs.

4. Yes... but a picture really is worth a million words....
And I can't imagine there are many Americans who have not been fixated by the visual images coming out of NOLA the past week. While those who combine their denial with overt racist views may turn away, I'm willing to bet most Americans will have very very clear memories of this last week.

5. You beat me to it, though I put the short attention span down to
being overloaded, not well educated, and feeling insecure and powerless. There's little point to attending to something over which one has no control--it's like staring out to sea at the approaching tidal wave: better put all the energy into running away, instead.

9. That is exactly...
... what I was going to say.

The antidote?

Dem politicians slamming the lies non-stop, over and over.

But will that happen? I really doubt it.

7. Most KKKonservatives want to KKKonserve everything for...
themselves, and anyone else can die a horrible death and go straight to hell, for all they'll really ever care. Most KKKonservatives have the same attention span and a brain the same size of a dog pecker gnat's!

I'm not ashamed to "point my finger" and I'm pointing the middle one!
