Yesterday's Evacuation Center Visits. Bush Ignored. Oprah Mobbed!

I was watching some clips of Both Bush and Oprah visiting evacuation centers. I was laughing to see that when Bush was there, people paid no apparent attention to him at all.

They stood there and has a press conference and there were people milling all around. Hardly a soul even looked over at the circus. He was flanked by a couple of church leaders from the black community who looked in pain to have to even stand there next to the guy.

That was damn funny.

It got way funnier when Oprah arrived and could hardly move as she was mobbed by the crowd.

We have arrived at a point where Oprah Winfrey has more credibility and appeal than the "President" of the United States.

We've fallen and we can't get up!

16. Oprah definitely has more credibility -- with good reason

She's donated so much time and money to great causes -- sometimes very quietly, sometimes openly, as through her Angel Network. She gives MANY scholarships to disadvantaged students ... with one string attached: every summer, they have to work to give something back to the community (VISTA, homeless shelters, etc.). I don't always agree with her, she Oprah is good folks. She remembers where she came from, and she truly has compassion and empathy. SHE is not a sociopath.

Oprah can move mountains.
